A physical piece of equipment or property that you want to track, maintain and cost, like a pump, motor, vehicle or HVAC unit. Each asset has its own history of work, costs, meters and failures.

Common Misconception
Not everything needs to be an asset. If you will never maintain, cost or report on it individually, tracking it as an asset just adds noise.
